Uganda Parents of Persons with Intellectual Disabilities (UPPID)

UPPID is a advocacy group whose aim is to work towards giving a voice to the voiceless and ultimately uplift the welfare of PWIDS persons with intellectual disabilities by giving them a chance to enjoy their human rights as enshrined in the U.N Declaration on children’s Rights and in the constitution of the Republic of Uganda. The organization advocates for full inclusion of PWIDs as equal citizens and participants in all aspects of life.
