The Uganda Parents of Persons with Intellectual Disabilities team conducted home visits to follow up on their clients. During these visits, the team engaged with families to assess the progress and well-being of individuals with intellectual disabilities, addressing any challenges they faced. We also provided guidance on caregiving practices, shared resources, and strengthened the support network between the organization and the families. This initiative aimed to ensure personalized care and foster a stronger sense of inclusion and community support for the clients and their families.
