Capacity building training on Health policy

The Uganda Parents of Persons with Intellectual Disabilities, in collaboration with the Ministry of Health, organized a capacity-building training focused on health policy. The training aimed to equip participants with knowledge and skills to better understand and advocate for health policies that address the unique needs of persons with intellectual disabilities. Key topics included inclusive healthcare practices, policy implementation strategies, and the role of stakeholders in promoting equitable access to health services. This initiative fostered stronger partnerships and enhanced the capacity of caregivers and advocates to influence positive change in the healthcare system.

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to all stakeholders and partners who generously financed and supported this event. Your commitment and contributions have been instrumental in driving this impactful initiative forward. Thank you for championing the rights and well-being of persons with intellectual disabilities.
